Kids Sudoku Generator
Choose a grid size, choose a level, print. The 4×4 for the youngest solvers, the 6×6 for the next step up, the full 9×9 once they are eleven and ready. One solution per grid. Every grid finishes by scanning.

Three gentle levels. The only thing that changes between them is how many digits start placed on the grid. If you would rather have balloons or confetti around the puzzle, the Fun Designs page is one click away.
Every grid has one solution and finishes by scanning alone — no guessing, no advanced patterns. Built for kids on their first puzzles. Free to print.
Kids sudoku FAQ.
Which grid size do I pick?
Ages four through seven do well on the 4×4 (digits 1–4). Six through ten suits the 6×6 (digits 1–6). The full 9×9 is the right grown-up grid from age eleven upward. If a size is uncertain, drop one. A finished puzzle builds more confidence than a stalled one. There are age-specific pages further down too.
Will my child solve without help?
That is the whole design. Each grid is constrained so the next digit is always findable by scanning — pick a row, column, or box, see which digit is missing, write it in. No guessing required, ever.
Are answers included in the print?
Yes. Leave the answer-key checkbox on and the solutions print after the puzzles. Each carries the matching puzzle id so spot-checking takes a moment.
Are they fresh, and is the answer always unique?
Both. Every click generates new grids. Every grid is uniqueness-checked before it goes to PDF. Ambiguous puzzles do not make it onto the page.
Can teachers print a class set?
Print as many copies as the room needs — classroom, homeschool, tutoring, library. Free. No account required, no watermark.
